There’s no shortage of high-end, eye-catching new releases at LVMH Watch Week 2026, spread across each of the group’s major watchmaking nameplates. For TAG Heuer, though, it’s a rather restrained offering, with an all-Carrera lineup focused largely on wearability and vintage charm. However, there’s one new TAG Heuer model that stands out clearly as bolder, more elevated, and more technically advanced than the rest of its 2026 novelties thus far. Building on the success of 2024’s Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph, AAA replica TAG Heuer watches brings a rattrapante complication to the Carrera family for the first time, pairing it to a (slightly) more restrained design and a more focused dial presentation. The new TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph adds another halo piece to the brand’s rapidly expanding high-end offerings, combining a new take on the fan-favorite “Glassbox” case design with one of its most exotic movements.

While it may be the same size as the largest standard “Glassbox” Carreras at 42mm wide, the TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph sports a nearly all-new Grade 5 titanium case. Core series design elements like the sharp, inwardly beveled lugs are still present here, but the overall look has been tweaked with an emphasis on aggressive modernity. The finishing, for example, shifts away from the usual brightly faceted Carrera philosophy in favor of highlighting strong linear brushing. The inner surfaces of the beveled lugs, traditionally brushed, are given a mirror polish here to contrast with the now-brushed upper lug surfaces. TAG Heuer adds a new polished chamfer along the case sides to visually differentiate between the upper lugs and the case sides, as well as regain a bit of the flash lost by this shift in finishing. The 9 o’clock case side is heavily reworked as well, with what appears at first glance to be a broad, low-slung three-part case flange. From a purely visual standpoint, it adds some breadth and solidity to the airy, lightweight Carrera silhouette, without fully breaking the UK buy fake watches design philosophy. On closer inspection, though, this assembly reveals itself as the rattrapante pusher, complete with a set of low-flowing guards. A broad set of polished chamfers also helps this element to add some brightness to the design in photos. On the 3 o’clock side, the line’s familiar pump pushers are replaced with streamlined, teardrop-style chamfered pushers (TAG Heuer claims these take inspiration from earlier pre-Carrera chronograph models in the brand’s archives) to better match the rest of this case. TAG Heuer fits the Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph with a matching “Glassbox”-style sapphire crystal caseback, and this exotic case construction helps lead to a minuscule 30-meter water resistance rating.

It’s difficult to call any full-skeleton rattrapante chronograph’s dial “subdued,” but when compared with the bombastic, architectural futurism of its Monaco cousin, the perfect copy TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph watches is almost demure. Nearly all the Carrera dial hallmarks are preserved here, from the split applied indices (placed on a transparent sapphire dial base) to the three-register layout and the tall, wave-shaped, double-sided outer chapter ring. Dynamic red accent graphics on the chronograph subdials and a matching red main chronograph seconds hand help to liven up the look in photos, but by and large, this looks to be impressively subtle compared to most of this watch’s rivals. Of course, the real spectacle here comes courtesy of the thoughtfully skeletonized movement bridges below, with a sharp, contemporary mix of linear brushing, polished anglage, matte blasting, and multiple layers of visual depth on display in images. Overall, it’s a dial layout that strikes an admirable balance between legibility, drama, and actual wearability, particularly for the rarefied market segment it sits in.

TAG Heuer powers the Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph with the TH81-01 automatic rattrapante chronograph movement, developed in partnership with movement specialist Vaucher. This is the next iteration of the TH81-00 found inside the best clone TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph watches, but on paper, the updates seem to be largely cosmetic. The TH81-01 sports the same smooth 36,000 bph beat rate, the same generous 65-hour power reserve (dropping to 55 hours with the chronograph engaged), and the same party-piece split-seconds chronograph functionality (allowing wearers to stop one of its twin chronograph seconds hands for a reading one while the other continues to run, before “catching up” at the press of a pusher). On the finishing side, though, the TH81-01’s skeletonization seems to be notably less extreme than its predecessor. Broader, less intricately cut-away bridges dominate the caseback view in photos, which gives more room for TAG Heuer to show off its meticulously hand-engraved checkered-flag finishing pattern. Extra luxe touches like hand-polished anglage and matching screws shine through here as well, but the overall finishing philosophy is still contemporary and sporty rather than the plush opulence often found at this price point. With that said, there’s still plenty of impressive detail on display here, including the hand-painted red-to-black gradient strip adorning the skeleton rotor. To complete the watch, TAG Heuer fits the Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph with a sporty, yet surprisingly simple fabric-effect rubber strap in black with racy red accent stitching. A two-button shield-motif deployant clasp caps things off here.

Amid an LVMH Watch Week release slate largely focused on demure, versatile extensions to the Carrera line, the new TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph adds a welcome dose of spectacle by bringing the brand’s most refined complication into the Carrera family for the first time ever. The top fake TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph watches will be available through authorized dealers in June 2026. MSRP for the TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph stands at $127,000 USD as of press time
